Cookie Pizza

Welcome to another Cookie Friday!:)
Two things-IT'S FRIDAY and A COOKIE IN PIZZA FORM!!!
Need I say more...um..yeah I guess so.
My daughter was drawn to this recipe because of the candy-the original recipe
called for gumdrops.
I don't really keep those on hand..do you??
I did just happen to have jelly belly's.

Press out the cookie dough onto a 12 inch pizza pan
Bake for 10 mins.

This stuff is sooo yummy!!

These were the ingredients we put on the "adult" side;)

Bring it out of the oven and top...
Bake for another 8 to 10 minutes.

Drizzle with white chocolate.

Cut into wedges.
Ya know...like a pizza;)

Kids loved this stuff!!
Totally flew off the platter!

The "grown-up" version was pretty yummy too!
Enjoy!!!

Monster Mummy Munch

This is a really quick, easy and addicting snack!!
Did anyone else see this recipe over at Picky Palate?
It was a must try for me.
I made a few changes to the original recipe to suit our tastes,
but there are so many different ways you could change up this recipe!
Here is the original recipe.
Here is mine:)

I used Autumn mix peanut butter M&M's
candy corn
mini marshmallows
chocolate chips

almond bark
2 c. chex cereal
2 c. honey nut cheerios

I really couldn't decide weather to stick to the original name-Mummy Munch
or to come up with something different. I had been calling Monster Munch the whole time and later realized she called it Mummy...so I decided on Monster-Mummy!

Mmmm-waiting for the almond bark:)

Almost ready to go into the treat bags...

Viola!!
I also wanted to update you all on this Munch:
for Maxs' birthday on Monday I made it for the party favor bags using the pretzel M&Ms and peanut butter M&Ms with only the chex cereal and mini pretzels and the autumn mix candy corn-soooo yummy!!

After School Snack

I saw these bars over at How Sweet It Is and had to make them Then just today at Buttercream Barbie !! Popular bars hey:)

I'm going to do somewhat of little step by step for ya;)

First: Cream 2 sticks of butter and 1-1/2 c. sugar together until fluffy.
Add 2 eggs and 2-1/2 c. creamy peanut butter mix just 'til combined-about 2 mins.

Whisk together dry ingredients-3 c. flour, 1-1/2 t. salt, & 1 t. salt. Add to the butter mixture until just combined. Add vanilla.

Transfer 2/3 of mixture into baking dish-13x9 in. spreading evenly.
I used a half and half mixture of strawberry and raspberry jams.
This is where I strayed a little from the recipe:)

Spread the jam over the bottom layer.

Crumble remaining peanut butter mixture on top the jam.
Sprinkle with the 1 c. chopped peanuts.

Bake until golden brown, 45 to 60 mins. I baked mine about 50 mins total.

Allow to cool for a few hours before cutting-trust me on this!

MmmmMmm....Yum!
Enjoy!

Monster Bars

A little spin on the Grandma's Mistake Bar, Which I'll have to post someday:)

My kids had friends over the other afternoon {half days this week!} so I wanted to make something for them to snack on. I went to a family favorite and then realized I didn't have a couple of the key ingredients so I just went through my pantry until I found replacements:)
Monster Bars

2 sticks butter 1 c. brown sugar
1-1/4 c flour 2 c. oatmeal
1/2 t. salt 1/4 t. baking soda
Mix all together making a crumb mixture. Pat 3/4 of mixture into a greased 9x13" pan. Reserve the rest for sprinkling on top.

Melt in a sauce pan over medium heat:

1 stick butter 1-1/2 c. butterscotch chips
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 c. M&M's

Mix together while hot-at this point you could add in any kind of nuts, coconut, dried fruit, and white chips. Pour on top of crumb mixture in pan. Sprinkle rest of crumb mixture over top. Bake at 350* for 20-25 mins. Cool before cutting.

Also I wanted to let you know a tutorial on Printable Recipes is coming soon:)
